Topic tags/keywords: balustrade

Hi,

I’m new here and what I would a skilled novice in woodworking, but getting better each week.

I’ve been building farm style dining tables, but it seems like every one is now so I was looking to change it up.

I found balustrade legs and I know they’ll be perfect, but the price is so high. I was wondering how they’re actually made and if it would be possible to do so.

Preferably the square type in the picture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

Table builders in my area are using reclaimed lumber. Timbers and joists from old factories made from SYP are predominant.

Isn’t a balustrade when you have multiple legs on the same platform like a staircase? Not a particular style or shape.
