Topic tags/keywords: question resource

I just had an email from the PR director for the building.

I sent them an email saying we would be in Arizona visiting friends January 6-14th (tentative), but would make the drive to Pasadena to visit the house and wanted to take in their private joinery tour conducted by a man who has studied the Greene and Greene style for over 20 years. This house was built in 1908 I think, and has amazing joinery.

Apparently, that tour is on the 29th of January, but he did offer me the opportunity to book a private tour.

I believe it is $75 per person, and there will likely be four of us, so would be room for 4 more if you are interested during that time period. It is a 3-4 hour tour behind the areas where they normally take people.

Otherwise, I end up paying $560 for the 4 of us… :(

I would even buy lunch afterwards if we get it booked up!

Sounds interesting, would love to go but wouldn’t be able to make the trip. Would love to see pics if you are able to take any. Hope things work out for you.

Wow- I wish I lived closer and I would join you guys on the tour. I am a Mission Freak. Also- in that area-Pasadena there are some nice period style bunglalow communities. I think you can check some of those out too. I have a whole book about the bungalows of Pasadena… I can’t remember the title- and can’t find the book… LOL.. (Here in Western Pa we have Falling Water and the Kaufman House…)

That’s great Rob! We will see if we can pin down the exact dates we will be there and I will confirm.

Really looking forward to it, and to meeting you as well!

Two spots left!!

Their regular (scheduled) tour is on the 29th.

He offered me a private tour, we just have to book it.

The dates we have sheduled now to be in the area are between 6-14th, but not confirmed.

Interested?
