Google “free workbench plans”

There are several good ones like the $175 workbench, or Nicholson.

Stumpynubs and I think Jay Bates sell plans for their workbenches on their websites. They are somewhat similar roubo style. I built stumpy’s bench and so far I like it a lot. Less than $200 in the whole thing, if you don’t count the rockler casters (which are well worth the extra $60btw).

I have a few plans from various places if you send an e-mail. You have to decide which ones you like and don’t like. Best of luck.

Charles Schwarz’s workbench books. If you haven’t already, you can look at this thread to help you decide on a bench type.

Or you could try his brother Christopher’s books ;-)

I built a Roubo, blogged it here:

There is a SketchUp file for it in the warehouse, link is in the first entry of the blog. I know Trimble has changed their policy on old version files, but if you can’t download it, PM me. I have also done a PDF file for the layout of the joinery on the legs and the bench dogs. If you want that, PM.

If you have access to back issues of Fine Woodworking, their 2013 Tools & Shops issue had an article on building a Roubo.

Paul Sellers has a video series on building his workbench design and I think the plans are free.
