Lucky if no one was injured. What would a saw blade that size be used for do you think?

Yikes! That’s a big road saw blade, guessing by how the two met it must have very recently fallen off another truck so as to not just be lying flat on the road.

Nothing behind the grill, the hood tear has been copied over itself, light sources are different, and the blade casts no shadow. Photoshop’d. Sorry guys.

With a sawblade involved, I’d say Photochopped.

Doubt it… here is the truck after the blade was removed:

Here’s another angle but the damage in the pictures doesn’t match. I believe a blade hit that truck but the photos look hinky.

The more I look at it, the more it just doesn’t look right. While the spacing on the torn area of the hood looks to closely match the spacing of the teeth on the blade, the lighting just isn’t right. Physically having a blade of that mass cantilevered out from the front of the truck would require it to be stuck pretty well to keep from just falling back out of the rather large kerf it appears to be sitting in. Yet it almost looks to be floating there. I would really like to see some pictures of both sides of the blade and the extraction of said blade before the truck was towed.

I figure it maybe really happened but the
blade didn’t stick in the gash, so somebody
photoshopped a blade in there to make
a good story.

They might have stuck it back in the truck for the photo… who knows. But there certainly was a “saw blade meets truck” incident, which is the scary part!

Brad

That’s what I would guess too. It’s probably the right blade and right truck but I’d guess no one took a picture before it fell out or was removed. Or maybe it’s a real picture and it just looks wrong, but to me it definitely looks wrong. Plus I don’t trust anything on the internet. ;)
