A local auction house had these and called them wood working weights. I can’t figure out what you would use them for. Is this a correct label? What do you do with them?

Sort of look like spline weights… are they made out of lead?

They are for lofting, such as boat plans and sails, on full size materials. On a large floor, of course. Look up LOFTING on Google.
