Hi all, I just got some General Finish Oil stain (honey maple), I used their Salad Bowl and thought I would try their stain,
It is milky, like paint, Is it supposed to be like that or could it be old?
I only have used Minwax and a couple of others like it but the stain was clear with a tint of color.
It seems to color the wood well ,actually very well,
Thanks

Have you applied it to anything yet, and how does it cure?

If it’s a water based stain, the ones I have used are milky. Make sure you mix it well before using.
