Topic tags/keywords: prevent vise racking

This is my first “blog” and I hope I’m doing this right. I have a quick question. Did anyone recently see a woodworking “tip” or article in which a sliding dovetail is cut into the outer cheek of a face vise to prevent racking. I’ve searched high and low and I’ll be darned if I can find it anywhere. I just need an illustration but any info will be greatly appreciated. Phil Colleran, Riverside, Illinois

Yes I am pretty sure it was in one of the past few issues of Fine Woodworking. (maybe 2 issues ago)
