I have a friend whom i would like to get a wooden pen for his birthday. he is a writer of sorts and will appreciate something like that. I have seen a lot of fantastic pens on LJ’s but I have been unable so far to find anyone with a website dedicated to wooden pens.

Is there anyone on LJ that has a website where they sell pens, or does anyone by chance know where there is a good online shop for these things?

will appreciate the help :)

LJ Darryl used to sell some of his stoppers and I think his pens also.

Perhaps here, if it’s a kit, then you can do the wood yourself, and make it personal.
It’s a Danish site, so you don’t have to pay so much shipment.

Hey Everyone

Thanks for the tips :) I’ll be looking around these places and checking out prices.

Mads – you’re a website encyclopedia! cheers :) I really enjoy looking around hanghoi, because i want to make another knife after I finish a couple of other projects on my list :) making a pen is definitely on my list of things to do.. at the moment though i’ve got a lot on my plate. it wont be so personal a gift i know, but i’m willing to sacrifice that.

I’m guessing you don’t have a lathe. I’d suggest taking a penturning class at your local woodworking store or find a turning club near you. Have you looked for those in Denmark?
