Which do you all recommend? I already have a pull saw but love the look and reviews of veritas. What are your all’s suggestions??

You’ve already got the Japanese saw. Will the Veritas do anything for you that the saw you already have won’t? Maybe spend your money on a tool that you need rather than like the look of. That said, I’m pretty vain about how my tools look. :)

There are as many different versions of the “Japanese” pull saw. I own 4 different ones with a 5th one on its way. My point here is that you get the right type of tool for the job at hand. AS for cutting dovetails, either a western or eastern style saw will work excellent assuming they both are really of the same sharpness. Personally I have better control using a pull saw. But everyone is different…
