Hey guys, haven’t been on here in a while. Anyhow, are Kleen Kutter tools any good? Went to the antique store today and there was a glass case full of them. I was especially tempted by a draw knife, jointing plane and a jack rabbit plane but I was unfamiliar with the brand. The planes were 25 dollars each and I think the draw knife was 20.

Keen Kutter was a small knife and tool maker in the plains states that operated between WW1 and the depression.
They made wood planes, chisels, spoke shaves, fixed blade knives, axes and draw knives. they also were subcontracted to make K-BAR knives, and razors.

Good quality tool makers for there day.

Anything they made will stand the test of time.

I think you made a good find you have some nice planes for a reasonable prices.

Have your say...
