Many of you already know I’m losing my memory. It’s so bad now that I can’t even remember what I’ve forgotton. Anyway, I’m almost sure I saw a post about somebody that made either a Purpleheart or Bloodwood house. That is to say they did the finished carpentry for a house that had all kinds of built-ins and flooring and stuff made out of one of the two kinds of wood.

I have searched high and low and can’t find it. I’m almost sure I commented on it so I looked at all 1K+ comments I’ve made and I can’t find it. I’ve tried searching for those two words in many combinations and can’t find a thing about it.

Please have mercy on me if you know where this was posted and send me the link. Please??

Thanks in advance,
Jim

I remember a house built out of an exotic wood. I don’t think it was purpleheart. Maybe bloodwood (not sure) but I know it was an exotic.

If I remember correctly, it was more of a brown wood.

I remember it too. I think it was somewhere in asia. Wasn’t it a video added to someone’s post?

That’s the one I remember. I found myself wondering, “What would that cost?” if it were built here in the US.

webwood, that’s not the one I remember. I’m talking about a modern type house with bookshelves and built-ins and stuff like you’d find in a custom made home. I wonder if it was a blog or something.

The mystery has been solved. Div PMed about the source of my lost memories. He has a wonderful web site with the relevant lost pictures here:
http://www.woodspark.co.za/
He has posted one part of the house he did here:
http://lumberjocks.com/projects/33224

I hope you will join me in encouraging him to post more of his work at LumberJocks, in his spare time. ;-)
