A Few Money Saving Buys.
1. Metal Sawhorses. NOTE: The picture below is from this weeks Flyer. It is NOT a Picture of the Actual One that IS on Sale. The ACTUAL ONE that IS on Sale is Better. It has 45 Degree Braces that run from the Cross Braces shown, to the Center of the Top Piece. I just bought 2 more. Regular Price is $39.99 Sale Price is $10.00 each, a 70% Discount!!
I’ve owned a set of these for over a year. They state a Load Capacity of 300 lbs. I’m 6-2”, 255lbs. (SHUSH) Sat on one and tried to move them. They will move a Little from side to side. They should be used on even floors. They will NOT Collapse.
They are 31” High and 40” Long. The Top is 3-1/2” Wide.(HELLO 2×4) They are pre-Drilled if you want to attach a 2×4 Top, and/or a Permanent Worktable. They Fold quickly and easily Up or Down. They have a Handle on the side for carrying when Folded (Size of a 2×4), OR, for each end of the Table if you want to build a Table and leave it assembled.
I couldn’t figure out what the HEAVY Spring under one end was for. I just did when I was Lifting these pictures from CTC’s Website. The other end has a Blue Fixed Bracket, Under. You can LINK them together. I tried it. It Works!! Now I’m going back and buy 2 more. HEY! $10.00 Bucks???
WOW! LOT of typing for one item!!!
2. Clamping Wortable. Regular $79.99 Sale Price $29.99 60% Off. Their Cheaper, Lighter Worktable is $39.99 Regular Price. I don’t have this one but do have a B&D Worktable that I have since turned into a Portable/Fixed 2’x4’ Worktable. I had a look at this one. It’s well made and very Sturdy.
3. Wolfcraft Router Table Regular $139.99 Sale Price $69.99 50% Off. I DO have one of these. I have a Skill Dual Base Router. I used the Plunge Base and attached it to this Table. Easy Up and Down Adjustments. Fence & Mitre Gauge work fine as well as the other Do Dads. Over a Year now and I’m Happy with the Performance. I’ve since bought a Colt, Palm Router so the Skill stays where it is.
NOTE: I’m a Hobby Type Woodworker and am trying to keep my Small Basement Shop as Compact as possibble. I realise that some of the above will not apply to a more Professional Shop other than the Metal Sawhorse’s and I’m sure some of you could probably come up with a few uses I haven’t thought of yet.
This also would have been a LOT easier if I could have Downloaded the Pics directly from my Computer as in “New Projectes” instead of Download to My Computer, Enlarge, Clean Up, Resize,, etc. THEN… Put in PhotoBucket, Fiddle Around and get them here.
Anyway, If it Benefits any of My Fellow LJ’s, it’s worth the Effort. (Hugs & Kisse’s Here Please…LOL…)
Don’t Hesitate to Leave a REPLY please. That HELPS US ALL. I sometimes see a LOT of Views, FEW Replies, and it makes you wonder if the “Post” is being of any Value. I’m still Editing some of the Content and it’s already had 15 Views and 0 Replies.
