Hi All,

I’m laying out a power tool work bench/station type thing and wondering if any DeWaly DWS780 owners could help me out with some dimensions for an inset well like the one from Jamie Cunningham's design?

I don’t have a mitre saw yet and can’t spare the funds at present, so thought I would design around this saw as it has pretty good reviews.

What is the height from the bottom of the saw (i.e. the surface it’s on) to the bed of the saw itself (for getting this level with the benchtop)?

Also, what size footprint would be required of the well itself to clear the saw and all of its working?

Cheers from New Zealand!

Eru

Could you share them with us?

I am considering buying one and am about to start building a bench for it.

Can anyone give me the bed height on this saw?

I am waiting for mine to arrive and would like to have the bench ready when it comes.

Thanks

Thanks.

I was hoping that it would be the same as my current saw. No such luck

I make it as 91mm from bottom to table, though I think it’s best to go deeper and shim it up to level so you can get it exactly right
