Topic tags/keywords: question deck wood home depot

When i make my adirondack chairs i usually go to HD and buy my PT’d deck wood to make them. I havent made any in about 6 months but i thought i remembered the last time that an 8ft piece of PT’d deck wood was about 5 bucks…when i wetn the other day it was 8.99!!! Maybe my memory is bad but i dont remember the wood beign that expensive. Has anybody else noticed this?

I’ve noticed the wood at my HD has gone up over the last couple months. The redwood I usually buy is two or three dollars more a piece, and all the ply and MDF have got up at least a buck.

If the wood is warped more it will be more expensive. :)

I got a piece of 3/4×6” x 4’ pine and it was over 5 dollars. I don’t remember it costing that much the last time either. I can get oak cheeper than that.
