Topic tags/keywords: plantation shutters parts advice

I am thinking about making Plantation Shutters for my home. Does anybody know where I can find the parts and hardware? Possible some adive or tips to keep me out of trouble.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check PBS for Norm Abrams(newyankeeworkshop) making shutters. I seem to remember he did a show a long time ago on making them.
