When browsing from my phone (iphone4) I randomly get redirected to spam sites. I’ve attached a photo of what I’m seeing.

You could try sending a message to Cricket.

The questions I see from users having that problem go back a couple of years. More than likely Apple has fixed it in a later version of IOS, but you can’t upgrade to it because your old phone can’t go past IOS 7.

I did find this on Reddit:

Go to settings and find the page that allows you to set restrictions (the sort of stuff you do to a child’s device if you don’t want them doing certain things).
Next, enable restrictions and set yourself a password that you will remember.
Disable access to anything related to the App Store.
App Store is no longer accessible to be opened. Period.
If you have the desire to use it again, simply enter your password at the same page, and re-enable the apps.

-- No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.

Sounds like spamware on your phone. Do a virus scan. (Is that even a thing on a smartphone?)

Yeah splatman, I htought it was spam ware too but it only affects lumberjocks which makes me think that the problem is on their end.
Rich, I found the restrictions part of setting but none of them on my phone have to do with the app store, probably has to do with the age of the phone and the outdatedness of the iOS

Chuck, I hope this post will be enough to get her attention and serve as a heads up to anyone else having similar trouble.
