Topic tags/keywords: grizzly table saw fence incra

How do I love thee, let me count the ways.

1. Grizzly 1023 RL
2. Incra TS LS fence system with router fence

When we woke up and went downstairs to the tree on Christmas day, there was my every year stocking and an envelope. Nothing else just that. Now inside the stocking was the usual stuff, candy, pencil lead, you know stocking stuff. Upon opening the envelope there were 2 receipts for the saw and Incra.

That’s right, she knew I wanted these but I had never asked for them. I know the big bucks were too much for gifts and better off saved for to get “at some later date”. She also knew that later date would never come as too much life gets in the way of shop toys that eat up money.

She just sat there smiling as I sat across from her dropped jawed and tearing up and I’m no wuss.

Today it all arrived. 4 big boxes full of shop toys. Things I would never buy, things that were always going to be “some later date”. Holy crap I am tearing up again, remember I”M NO WUSS..

I will post pictures as I set them up. Now where is that 220 outlet, oh yeah I need to build that. I never needed one before.

I love my wife.

Now get out there and make her that thing that was waiting for “some later date”! Congrats on the new stuff and having made the right choice in women. ;-)

See?....... She does pay attention to what you say!
You are a lucky man. Now go show her what you can do with your new toys!

LOL…
Congrats on your Christmas goods! I did a similar thing for my wife this year. We had limits and I ignored them cause I knew she/we would never get her the treadmill she wanted. (Her last treadmill broke from too much use, 2500+ miles in 2ish years and it was purchased used.). She was mad I got it for her, but so happy to get it at the same time. Sometimes you just need to go out and do it, and it sounds like you’ve got an outstanding wife who did just that!

Enjoy Paris!!!!!

That is great! What a lucky guy. She is truly a wise woman because when we are busy making plans, God is laughing. Life too often gets in the way, and time and money runs out before you know it; and that “later date” never comes. Now build her some nice stuff! The trip is a great idea. Find out where she REALLY wants to go. Good Luck, Work Safely and HAVE FUN!

I know, right? After 40 years I guess she knows me well.

Paris, that’s doable, after all it is only down the road next to Middleburg. We are about 20 miles from there.; in VA :)

Now I have to put in 220 and clean the shop, sell the old Delta, lots to do, lots to do.

Initially I though you also bough a table saw and Incra fence for your wife.

Although I would not mind two saws, she would not use it much, ever. ;)
