I just wanted to thank all those LJs who sent me Pms and encouraging posts that helped me though my latest medical issues which put me in hospital for a week. All your words of hope and good wishes stayed with me all the way to the operating table and into recovery. The surgery was sucussful, although I was cut more that I expected, and my anesthetist’s IV leaked into my arm and blistered half the arm. I have 2 badly placed wounds that won’t tolerate movement but I see an improvement daily. I know I have a long road to recovery, but keeping in touch with you guys will do wonders. Please be aware that all your messages mean’t so much, I didn’t have to face it alone. I am very lucky to have such friends and remind you all that my problems pale to what some others endure, especially service personel (UK and US) who put their lives on the line each day and pay an awful price for US. Always give a kind thought for them. It is going to be a long road back for me …. and I will make it because of all my buddies, friends and cheerleaders at LJs. Thank you all so much for your generosity, God bless all of you,

glad to see you have surfaced and are alive….now if you will do this and follow my advise, you will recover more quickly…..take a pack of those treasured sausages and put them through the blender…rub it on your head…now take a large can of bakes beans…and soak your feet in that…and as a last and proven relief…take a large jar of sour kraut mix it with a can of tomato juice and blend it…drink it all at once…its guaranteed to get you out of your chair and moving again….....and if all else fails…take two aspirin and call me in the morning…lol…let me know if i can do anything for ya roger….if you want to call or have someone to chat with…i will pm you my phone number…i know you probably wont feel like talking , but just in case im offering…i can sing a slow waltz over the phone…slip on a red dress and do a slow dance with ya….and of coarse…hold ya tight….LOL….......what are friends for
Glad to have you back, Happy the surgery went well, take it easy as you recover and you will do fine:)
