I should have been working on my shop swap but couldn’t pass up a trip to azwoody’s. AZWoody is a great friend of mine. We’ve done business several times together and I even turned something on the lathe for his daughter he needed. So today I made the two hour journey that was more like 3 one way with the rain and got a mega great deal from a great friend today. Some slabs from his mill and a sander from his beautiful shop. All for a price you would all say I suck. Thanks again for hosting the wife and I woody. I know I’m not allowed to come by if she isn’t with me (better scenery). See you again soon.

Ps if you are in Arizona woody is worth the drive and he’ll always give you an awesome deal.

Sorry for the poor quality pics. It was dark obviously.

Those slabs literally made me salivate.

Thanks guys and Russell, you can’t beat a day BSing with a friend, loading up a slightly above average drum sander and picking through several hundred slabs of eucalyptus, cottonwood, mulberry, Arizona pine, mesquite, salt cedar, etc. it’s like a kid in a candy store at woodys. I giggle inside like a 12 year old girl every time.

Wish AZ wasn’t so far! Great score on the drum sander!

Yeah. I think I have more red eucalyptus than I need for awhile but you never know.

The sander needs a new feed roller so I ordered one. I’ll tune it up and put it to work once the feed roller gets here. Should serve me well enough I imagine.

If you lived close to AZ Kenny we wouldn’t be swapping wood! Just sayin. ;)

It was really great to see you and your wife again. I appreciate the recommendations you always give for my little operation out here in the boonies. I hope you come up with some great ideas with the wood you picked up.

PS…You suck!!!

Matt, it’s far but worth it.

Hey Matt, I’m off of I-8 about an hour east of Yuma. The exit is #54.
I’m here pretty much every day as I’m a farmer so I don’t have much time to get away so send me a pm if you have some time and I can get you directions. I enjoy having fellow lumberjocks come over to chat and check things out.

Yeah, well I was trying but you’re right, she deserves all the credit, haha.

Hmm, I’ll have to throw in an extra board for the advertising haha.

I was kidding woody. You treat me well enough for me to be happy to recommend to others.
