I was planing some poplar today, shooting for 1/2”. I had the turret stop set at that thickness, and the head hit the stop before the wood was that thin. I had to set it to 1/4” and just measure the thickness. Is there a way to adjust this? The manual doesn’t say anything, and a google search turned up nothing.

I think you can adjust the “stop post” on the infeed, left side of the planer.

Duh! I never noticed this because I had the darn thing way down at 1/2” while I was looking at it, and the post is mostly inside the turret. Thanks.
