Topic tags/keywords: rocking horse toddler plan plans gift question

I saw a cool wooden rocking horse made for babies at a yard sale a while back, and thought it would be cool to build for my daughter, I’m thinking about winging it, but I was wondering if anybody knows where to find the plans for it, sizes/dimensions for the components? I tried to find them online, no luck, just a few pics. thanks in advance!

Just take pictures you have and go for it. Thats the fun of wood working. No matter how it turns out it will be a treasure she will probably give to her daughter

Ya cebfish, thats what i plan on doing if i cant find deminsions. Ive done it before, just requires a bit more math, sizing to make sure it doesnt come out looking odd lol. Thanks for the link jayvansickle, cool site, didnt have that plan but still a good site.

I found this. Not free unfortunately, but I have seen the plans and they look quite good (haven’t actually used them so can’t give a more useful comment).

Steve Ramsey did one similar to this some time ago, but does not seem to have it on his web site.
