Topic tags/keywords: resource free wood wood freecycle

I recently signed up to a few “freecycle” groups close to where I live and there are tons of people just giving away great wood. Maple, Black Walnut, Oak, etc. For the most part, its, you cut it, you haul it, you can have it. If you are in the market for some free wood, albeit sometimes green, sign in to some freecycle groups near you. freecycle.com

I may should have posted this in the coffee lounge but hey, I did say the word “wood” a couple of times.

Yeah, I just found a guy selling a pretty much a whole shop for $600. Shopsmith mark 5 with all the attachments, craftsman bandsaw, another table saw, all kinds of tools. I wish I had the extra money, I’d be all over it.

I think the correct site is freecycle.org. I tried the .com one and it was basically a spam site. The .org one seems pretty legit, and cool!
