I recently purchased a vintage Craftsman Kromedge 8” stacked dado set, catalog # 9-3247. It needed cleaning up, but I think it is very lightly used. Though it was in the original box, and had the original cardboard washers, it did not come with any literature. Does anyone have this set, that would be willing to photocopy the included literature for me?

Look up any stacked dado set. The instructions are universal.

You may be able to find instructions for that particular set, but as Rick says, they are all pretty much the same – so any generic instructions should get you going. You can also browse the Craftsman documentation over at the Vintagemachinery site, which has some publications that might help… like the Handbook of Circular Saw Blades and Power Tool Accessories which covers a variety of blades and accessories and some instructions for their use… like:

(Found under the ‘Instruction Guides’ selection for Craftsman publication reprints)

Thanks, Mike. Downloaded the handbook.
I was looking for the original instructions as I wanted to keep them with the set for the next user, and I like vintage tools…
