I need help trying out how to adjust the feeder tables on my unit. As I feed a board through the blades the wood gets caught up on the outfeed table. I tried following Rigid’s instructions to lower it to no avail. Any suggestions as to how to get my planer/joiner to work properly?

I have limited experience with mine (2 months) but will offer what I have:

Is the Infeed ramp parallel with the chromed base table? It should be.

If you are adding extended infeed/outfeed ramps then those added ramps can have a slight tilt of a 1/16-1/8”” or so to the outer ends of those extended ramps. From what I gather, do NOT tilt the stock infeed/outfeed ramps up as they are too close to the cutter and magnify the feed angle created when tilting them. This might be what is causing the board to jam when trying to start exiting on the outfeed ramp (if that is what you are saying).
