Does anyone know the length of the drive belt for a 14” Jet closed base Band Saw? Mine is about 14 years old and the Gold edition. Thanks, Sean

That’s a good reason to keep a seamstress cloth tape around. Mine’s pink, so I’m pretty sure no one will steal it. Anyway, mine’s 44 inches.

Do you know the model number? The Jet JWBS-14CS takes an A39 belt. Manual should specify the part number, from which you can get the size required. I would verify before going out and buying one that may not fit. The belt you have now will probably let you know as well (assuming you need to replace one, not find a missing one!).

Cheers,
Brad

You might want to try a link belt on it also. Mine runs great with it.

Good idea, I have had mine in use for 5 years now. Works well.

Same here…link belt on my Jet 14” Gold Series. The one from Harbor Freight is 60” for $29.99 and IIRC during my research, they are U.S. made. Sure cut down on the vibration problem I was having.
