Does anyone have any positive experience with or recommendations for any of the online cabinet door vendors? I really really want to try my hand at this but the current project I’m working on just doesn’t justify the cost of the templates and multiple router bits for just 2 raised panel doors.

I’ve never bought doors from them on-line, but have had good luck with a company called Cal-Door here in CA.

You would probably be limited to whatever styles and species they provide, but their selection is pretty wide. Just make sure that your dimensions are correct, ‘cause if your measurements are wrong, it’s on you. – lol

My dad got the doors for his whole kitchen from a place online and they turned out really great. He was very careful on all his measurements and all the doors fit properly. The came all pre-finished with the holes for the hinges so literally all he had to do was attach the hinges to the door and the door to the cabinets.
Kind of hard to think about as a wood worker but it did work very well for him.
Unfortunately I don’t know what website he went through. I’ll try to remember to check with him and post here.

My son-in-law’s dad has purchased many doors from WalzCraft in La Crosse, WI … ... don’t know what kind of pricing they offer, but my daughter’s kitchen sure looks nice!

I’ve used both of these companies in the past and had good results from both. Keystone wood products is located in Pennsylvania and Decore-ative Specialties is located in California and North Carolina. I found that if I had any questions, all I had to do was call either one and they would walk you through how to order doors or drawer boxes.
