Does anybody know why my clear coffee table photo becomes blurry when I upload it to lumberjocks. Seems to be fine elsewhere.

Thanks for any help

well i wish i could help…i take it its not blurry on your end…the pictures are pretty small here…but man your table is just fantastic…i love it..i dont know why your picture would be blurry here…unless the pixel size you have is small and its not coming out good here..usally the pictures are really large when you look at them to enlarge them…good luck with it…grizzman

Because you’ve shrunk them too small before uploading. LJ then trys to expand it to fill available space and it turns out grainy/blurry. Load a larger pic, but not too large.

I usually reduce my photos to a resolution of 600×450.

Upload larger project photos (eg. 800×800px max) and they will be downsized to all required sizes on the fly.

I use Picasa’s (the app is a free download from Google) export function. It automatically resizes high def pic’s to 800×800.
