I work as a construction super. I got to work this morning to find out that our company lost their line of credit last week….. and I am on the job not knowing if I will be paid or not. Hopefully I will receive some compensation. The company that I work for is small so few will notice. I will meet with the company that is to take over the job tomorrow ant the management company so we can make the transition. At least O saw it coming. Now I guess that I can get a few of those woodworking projects done…LOL Thanks for reading. Russell

That’s too bad! I hope you’ll get your compensation. In the mean time, enjoy your extra shop time!

That sucks!! You have first claim to any assets the company has.

I have been there and done that. When I found out, they told me they decided to file bankruptcy late on Friday and didn’t have tiime to call me and tell me my check was going to bounce. That was Tuesday morning. It did, what a hell of a mes that was;-((

Had that happen to me when I first started working; went to work sweeping streets in April didn’t finally get paid until November (mind you I only worked for two pay periods before I went elsewhere as I stopped believing the ‘cheque is in the mail’ line :-)

Hope things work out much faster for you!
