Topic tags/keywords: triton router customer service us

I’ve read that a few years ago perhaps the biggest hit on Triton routers was their customer service in the US . It appeared that Triton was well aware of the problem in the US. I’m wondering if they have managed to improve yet.

Does anyone have any recent real world experience with needing warranty work, service or parts from Triton in the US?

I need a new baseplate for my Triton router. I’ve scoured the web for hours and can’t come up with a domestic source for parts. I will now go ahead and make my own baseplate out of lexan.

This will be my first and last Triton purchase.

I’m just curious, did you call them?

You can use a PC baseplate for the Triton. I posted a thread with pics a couple of weeks ago.

I had a bad collet with my Triton. It occasionally the bit slip and ruined a couple pieces of wood. I called them and found out Kreg had bought them and was providing customer service. I wasn’t sure if it was the collet or the router itself so they didn’t hesitate to send me a brand new router then let me return the one in question. I can’t complain at all about my experience, and this (plus the fact that I truly like the router) is why I always recommend Triton.
