So far I have $352 in it, plus some sweat:) There were plenty of people who turned this down for $300 because it was ugly! Never underestimate what a good cleaning and fresh coat of paint can do.

It’s a mid 80s powermatic 66. The table was completely rust covered but only surface rust. The base was covered in rust but it’s completely solid now

Oh man you totally suck. I wanted a T66 so bad. That is such a beautiful saw. I had to settle for a Delta x5 that was just 10 blocks from my house. I’m green with envy.

That is total “you suckage”! Great get on that one.

Would love to see some “before” pics. Got any?

Beautiful. Finally, some one with the moxie and inclination to bring a machine back to new condition. No offence to the anxious and indecisive and the Chinese buyers.

What size motor and did a fence come with the package? Was it a Craigslist find? I don’t know why anyone would want anything else other than maybe a Unisaw?

I’ll see what other pictures I can find. It has the original PM fence but it’s the crappy one they only used for a few years, I figure with the money I saved on the saw I can upgrade later on. It’s the 3HP single phase motor, it’s what I wanted because I didn’t really feel like adding a converter or changing my wiring.

Now that the saw is close to done it’s time to start working on the planer and jointer!

Judging from the “before” pics, you’ve done a helluva job bring that baby back into the woodworking fold. Great job! Having labored to resurrect her yourself, it’ll be that much sweeter when the dust starts to fly!

The color scheme kinda reminds me of a P-51 Mustang.

Nice job.
