Hi, I have a question about the so called “Delta Retirement Lamp” was the lamp really made by Delta? the reason I asked, I have not really looked but is there any documentation to confirm this? The main reason I ask is because I have seen these lamps on other manufacture machines and it looks like they were made for each other. thanks for any input. dan in Pa

Not sure if they actually made it in their facility or not… don’t see why they wouldn’t have though. The lamp attachment was sold by Delta back at least as far as 1939, as seen in this catalog entry:

As an alternative, several people have made reproductions out of various materials that look really nice… such as in this thread over at the OWWM site. For example, here is one that a member over there made for about $28 in parts:
