I am trying to locate a motor system that would work in an entertainment cabinet. The idea would be to use a remote control to open the doors, which would then slide back inside the cabinet, bring the TV out and rotate, etc etc. Anyone know where I might find the motors and tracks for such a thing as this? Thanks.

David

There used to be an advertiser for this in FWW. I’ll search some back issues to see if I can find it.

http://www.auton.com/ is one. You can google Motorized TV Lift for more options.

you might try the magazine shops, the big ones like Chapters. Some of the high fedelity mags have ads for such components…..........maybe a google?

I like the idea. That Auton link Tom posted seems to have what you might need. It’s gonna be expensive though.
