Topic tags/keywords: question timberline slot cutter

I need a slot cutter set. I’ve gone back and forth between the following:

MLCS stackable slot cutter set $58
http://www.mlcswoodworking.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/smarthtml/pages/bt_slot.html#stackable_slot_anchor

Whiteside arbor and individual cutters… ~$100

Timberline TRS-310 set $77
http://www.amazon.com/Timberline-TRS-310-3-Wing-2-Inch-Cutter/dp/B001MQ5646/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1279744542&sr=8-1

I’m leaning towards the Timberline because it’s stackable, includes various bearings for different depths, and includes several cutters. Seems to be really good bang for the buck, but I don’t have any experience with Timberline. I know Amana makes good stuff, but Timberline is their cheaper stuff. Anyone have experience?
