That’s what the nurse called it last time I had my last colonoscopy The day before is always the worst. I know this isn’t a very nice subject to bring up, but one that we all need to be reminded of at times. I turned 60 last month and the last one I had was in 86. Pretty stupid really to go that long without another. Especially with a history of cancer. My Doctor, thank the whoever, saw the need for this on a routine checkup. On the one hand I hate the process, but know the consequences of forgoing this procedure. So just a reminder to all, with a smile on my face <g> see your Doc and do what is good for you and the people that love you. God Bless You All, and sorry if I offended anyone. Mike

The actual process isn’t bad, IMO. But the day preceding is real b*&^%. I hate that stuff I have to drink.

Right on Mike. I used to brag how I never went to a dr. and how healthy I was. Until one day I was wondering why I was having some problems and got the digital exam. Next stop was a colonoscopy and the bad news – stage 3 colon cancer. It takes years for polyp to go from benign to cancer and a ‘oscopy every 5 -10 years depending on your history will prevent it. Soon I will hit the 5 year no cancer milestone! Yipee!

Mike I hope there is something left of you after all of this.

I mean, I think I’ve hears someone say that you were “Full of Sh**”

Here’s praying that you come through OK. I had one a couple of months ago.

Been there and done it. Good luck!

They wouldn’t let me leave the recovery room until they heard some gas. I had a lot of fun with that!

Be Glad you can afford one Mike, like many self employed folks and others I have no health insurance and can not pay the $ 2200 the want for this procedure. I’m glad that you have the means for such a valuable test.
May the test go well.

What about Obama’s free health care Jim when is that supposed to happen. Or do you have to sneak into the country to get it. I suppose we could smuggle you into Canada, we got lots of friends up there and you could sneak in and say you were an illegal alien. Just kidden. Don’t start riding me about my politics. It is sad for people like Jim though, hard working, can’t afford healthcare, what about them, been paying taxes all their lives, now what. I’ll tell you what, if my wife didn’t have a job, I’d be dead.

Good luck.

Remember: a tool IS a tool. Maybe you can post a review, when it’s all over :-)
