My JDS 750-er is humming when it’s turned off. The circuit board is leaking voltage to the motor which causes it to spin very slowly and hum. The same thing happened 3 or 4 years ago and JDS replaced the circuit board. I’m out of luck this time because JDS no longer carries any parts for this unit. Their suggestion was to hardwire a on/off switch. I very much want the timer function and the 3 speed from the remote control. Anybody had the same problem and able to successfully repair the circuit board?

Take the circuit board to an electronics repair shop. You may be surprised at what they can fix.
