Topic tags/keywords: sanding storage sharing

Humidity effects sandpaper in much the same way it does wood. Moisture being absorbed into the cloth of paper backing causes it to curl. Proper storage is the key to getting the most from your investment.

We have started an album on our FaceBook Page for people to share their ideas for storing your sanding supplies. It is a place to share your ideas or maybe pick up a good idea you can use.

Please drop in and take a look.

i couldn’t find where to add idea. what i made was a shallow box, maybe 3” deep, with a cover that fits inside of the box that keeps the sheets of sandpaper flat under pressure at all times.

If you have a photo to add, you ought to be able to simply add it to the album. Or just email it to me at and I’ll post it.

If you don’t have a photo but wish to share an idea, please feel free to post the idea on the Discussion tab.
