Well the new CNC saga continues.

Well now that the upgrade is done I wanted to decide how I was going to do my hold downs. I considered T-track and clamps, I used the painters tape and super glue method.

I finally decided to leverage my Festool clamps. I replicated a grid from my MFT/3 of 20mm holes 96mm on center. I did it for the first half of my 4×8 and made the holes 17mm deep. That allowed the clamps to see fully down and not penetrate into the lower spoilboard. Works really well and I like the results.

Nicely done, but expensive. You and others may want to try this method and other ideas from Marius Hornberger on you tube ( free plans as well) Thank you for sharing and promoting the CNC. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-rqf4uSXRE
