I was wondering if any of my Lumberjock buddies have found a good replacement for the stock blades that come with this machine. The stock blades dull very quickly and when they are sharpened, they are even worse
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Oakfan

I’m not sure of the exact size of knife that fits your planer but if Holbren sells one that fits I’d recommend them. I use their knives for my jointer and the quality is very high and their prices are very competitive. As far as your existing knives being worse after getting sharpened, look for a new sharpening service.

check out Globaltooling.com prices look pretty reasonable.
I have a 735 Dewalt and like everything else Dewalt sells, the replacement items seem pricey.

I must have missed something. My 733 blades have been just fine, and I sharpen them on my Makita horizontal wheel.
