a decent-priced 6” jointer. One of those resellers
may snap this one up though…

That’s a very decent price, but there’s nothing there to convince me it’s a decent jointer.

The deals are there if you keep looking. Local obscure auctions have paid off for me. Sometimes the even larger items are cheaper.

If you’ve got the time, it’s those vague listings with no pics that have the greatest chance of being a big score . . . or not.

I assume it’s likely from one of the 4 or 5 Taiwan
importers that are/were in the area: Star, Lobo,
American… it’s a port city.

I’ve picked up some good bargains over the years,
got a shop full of vintage gems now.
