Hello All! Just thought I’d introduce myself. Attached are some pictures of my first real project, a coffee table made of solid red oak, done with traditional joinery and hand tools.

Welcome to Lumberjocks! Nice looking table for your first “real” project. What kind of lathe are you using? The turned legs look great. Hope you enjoy your time here. Good luck, work safely and have fun.

Thank you Brian. I do the work out of the garage when my car isn’t there. All hand tool work based on the amount of space I have, and to keep the noise down for the neighbors. I love my coffee. But now I have to put it in a tin cup. You put it on the bench, you forget about it, you chisel, you have a broken cup on the ground.
