Topic tags/keywords: question I’m looking for a couple nice yew staffs, 2-4” in diameter 5-6’ tall reasonably straight. No luck poking around on Google for such a beast. I’m in Colorado these days, would be a lot easier back where I grew up in Oregon, but such is life. |

You need to look for Rocky Mountian U in CO :-)) -- "some old things are lovely, warm still with life ... of the forgotten men who made them." - D.H. Lawrence Wake Up America!! Please read; http://www.commondreams.org/view/2009/01/26-0 |

Indeed. It grows here and there in Oregon (I’m in the St. Helens area), hard to come by but it’s out there. If you really, really want some, I’ll go hunting for it but I’m a few hours from anywhere I have found it before. Better in the Salem area and eastward. -- Power tools put us ahead of the monkeys |

I grew up in Salem before bouncing all over the world post-college. I have my parents back there in Salem keeping an eye out for me as well. |
