For sale is a Millers Falls no. 5 hand drill, restored by me.

Drill was completely disassembled and restored. Painted parts stripped, repainted with three coats of enamel, and waxed. Bright metal polished and waxed. Tropical hardwood (I believe). Wooden parts sanded and refinished with poly and wax. Chuck disassembled, polished, and oiled. Steel pins were replaced with brass. No cracks in the wood or metal; cap threads sound. Ball bearings re-greased and all oil ports lubed. The drill is 70 years old, give or take, and has been fully restored, but if you may be able to find a pit here or there, or other signs the drill has been used. Please review all the photos. This beautiful drill is a pleasure to hold in the hand and will provide many years of good service…you ARE going to USE it, right? :-). I’m sure you’ll be happy to add this hand tool to your bench.
