So LOML and I are prepping for hopefully eventually having an addition to the family, but in the mean time, the extra bedroom needs to serve as a guest room. We came across a steal on a Storkcraft Aspen 3 in 1 convertible crib, that unfortunately has some teething marks on it. We grabbed it, the changing table, and a few other related odds and ends for $120.00.

I need to refinish this thing, and really do like the Cognac stain / satin finish on this thing, but have no clue where to get the stain. Or how to replicate it.

Can any of my fellow LJ’s point me in the right direction?

I am also planning on upgrading the rails and tray bottoms on the changing table as the originals so that will need stain as well.

I haven’t seen it for awhile, the only place on the web was out. You might be able to mix to match or find the right combo of dyes to get close. Otherwise I have nada.

Have your say...
