Just another Craftsman 10” Table Saw Rebuild. I cleaned it up and repainted everything as well as added a Jet Pro Shop fence along with some DIY rails to allow for 50” cuts! I also added a PALS kit to keep it easily aligned. It is a great saw now and has been suiting my needs very well. It is a great deal quieter and much smoother running than the RIGID 4510 it replaced. The rear rail is a planed down 2×4 for the time being as I am building a table for this saw to fit into as well as a router and down draft sanding table.

Here is the saw as I purchased it

The rusty disassembly process

Cleaned up and painted Trunnion

Mocking up fence rails

Completed saw!

nicely done. that saw, properly aligned and bladed, should handle anything in a hobbyists shop.
