Hi Guys, a lot of great info on here. My first post, go easy on me.

Looking to get a hybrid table saw, I think I have narrowed it down to the Shop Fox W1824 or the Laguna Fusion 36". It seems like both are just a half step down from a cabinet saw and both cost pretty much the same. Anyone have experience that could help with a decision either way?

I like the fact the Laguna has wheels, i have a small shop and would be moving frequently.

which has the better rip fence? Trying to get the most for my money.

any feedback is appreciated.

thanks,

MItch

Mitch I am just seeing this post. Which saw did you end up going with? I am looking at both saws as well, but fro. What I have researched the fusions fence is an aluminum 2 piece and not as favorable as the 1824. I have tested the fence on the 1824 and it is really nice. Unfortunately the shop fox 1824 has table mounted trunnions and laguna fusion doesn't.

If you purchased one I would love to hear why you made the decision you did and how it's working.
