I’ve been looking for a used explosion-proof exhaust fan for over a year, to build a new spray booth. I can’t afford $1000 or more for a new one. Finally found one on craigslist this morning

$35 :)

I don’t get it… the motor says it is for hazardous locations, but the fine print says it should not be installed where vapors are present. ?!

The rest of the sentence says “with an ignition temperature of less than XXX degrees Celsius”

Since this is a generic plate that gets filled in with the specifics for the particular motor, I assume the fact that it’s X’ed out means that it’s not applicable for this motor.

NICE score. as little clean up and this should be as good as new!

Charlie – this motor is for hazardous locations – such as the zoo, or the mall on black fridays and just before the holidays ;)
