Anyone have a prediction where “King James” will play basketball next year…. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t bother posting.

Well I am watching Larry King live and they are to announce soon.
Some say New York or Miami and others say he is going to stay where he is.

I don’t know much about that business, but to me he should stay in Cleveland. If he is as good as they say he is, then he should be able to win a championship there. Where’s the challenge in going to Miami to play with his boyz? He needs to man up and stay put.

Go Celtics!!

I could care less anytime a basketball player demands money like this in times like this will not get a red cent from me. These stars are nothing more than selfish. Used to be you could take your entire family to a game and it would not cost you a mortgage payment. Please don’t get me wrong I like sports but anytime a player demands this kind of money and spotlight is not a star imho.

Seer, I agree with you about the money. But in this situation, I don’t think the money had anything to do with it. James wants to be on a championship team and he felt that there was no chance of that happening in Cleveland. Like Martin said, “Wade-Bush-James”........ That’s 3/5 of a dream team in anyone’s book. The NBA isn’t all that popular right now. I wonder if this will hurt, or help the league in general.

From the reaction around the country I get the feeling these stars are hurting the NBA with their demands. The NBA used to be fun to watch when George Gervin, Dr J and those stars made the game fun, these new stars care only for the money, ok a championship is nice but when these sports are nothing more than a business then it dies, I for one would rather watch a college or even a high school game than any proffesional sport ever again, at least they are trying there hardest win or lose and having fun. I went to a Suns/Trailblazers game for free great seats in the 6th row and the timeout and halftime entertainemnt was better than the game itself, but that IMHO.
I know this sounds mean but I hope these high priced stars never win a championship same thing with certain baseball teams they are trying to buy a championship.

Miami with Wade and Bosh…if LBJ thinks he’s getting flak for not winning a ring yet, wait until they do with this dream team and people putting an asterisk on their championship and LBJ’s contribution to it. LBJ won’t accept being a Scottie Pippen. I don’t think it’s going to work out. Wade is the alpha-dog and LeBron (and media) thinks himself is the alpha-dog. Bosh won’t be happy in the long run being a 3rd option and not getting his shots and high stats. All won’t be happy not getting the full attenion they’re used to from their local media. Plus, who would Riley draw the play for when the game is on the line? Wade is more clutch, but LeBron probably thinks he’s the “clutchest” guy after that one shot against Orlando last year. That won’t go over too well. Things will fall apart as soon as 1 of the 3 gets more and more credit for Miami’s success.
Now we’ll see when Erik Spolestra suddenly realize he should be spending more time with his family.

Look at the Yankees big money on all stars and what have they to show for it? Sure they won a couple but they have been whooped by teams with a smaller salary and no name players alot hahahaha
