Hey everybody, I was just wondering who all on here sells bowl/lathe blanks, and does anyone have a piece of quilted maple 4”X4”X20” they want to sell?

There are a lot of bowl blanks on eBay.

Yeah, thats where I get the majority of my blanks. I’ve got about three sellers on there that I deal with on a regular basis and have built up a rapport with. I was just wondering who all on here sells them.

I know of several on penturners.org. Try Victor at landfilllumber.com or just join and post a request they are always selling something and they are a great group of guys.

Ebay has been an amazing source of AAAAA quality blanks and stocks. Prices have been quite reasonable, even for some very unique pieces.

They happen to be the same place that at least my local woodcraft gets blanks from, only if you buy direct you get it cheaper.

I have quantities of Big Leaf maple, Black Walnut, Pacific Yew, Sycamore,Redwood Burl and Lavendere Redwood, let me know what your interested in. I sell a wide variety of turning blanks from many species, among them are: Macassar ebony (8/4), padouk (8/4 and 12/4), myrtle, honey locust, spalted maple, koa, mesquite, pearwood, ziracote, persimmon and other exotics.
