I have had this saw for some time now and really enjoy it. the problem is when i try and TILT the blade the crank does just fine until about the 30degree mark, then gets unbelievably difficult to turn. i can finally get the blade to 45deg, but it takes some time. then, when bringing back to 90, it turns fine all the way. i have been under this thing looking for a binding or some other answer, but have no idea why tilting is such a chore.
does anyone have experience with this saw and this item of concern?

Gotta check inside the cabinet and make sure there are no accumulations of dust/debris blocking the tilting gears. Similar thing happened to my Delta where the blade just wouldn’t fully lower. I took the insert out and was amazed at the amount of long, stringy strands that had gotten stuck in the gears from all the ripping I had done. Cleaned it all out and was back to fine.
