In the middle of making some night stands to go with the TV stand I just made for my bedroom, on the way to doing a dresser to complete the bedroom set.

So what did I do tonight? I went to Home Depot and bought some nice 2×12s to cut up and make Stumpy Nubs workbench. Sigh.

I will definitely benefit from this bench. Right now I have two quickbench folding work tables, and they aren’t good enough for planing, and are barely good enough for chopping mortises. I’ve been using a stop block in the miter slot of my table saw as a plane stop, and that’s been going OK. But its nice to use the table saw as a table saw too. Plus, I can match the height of the table saw and use the bench as an outfeed table too.

So I mean, its not like I don’t need it. But…still…gotta finish those nightstands.

Having a lot of projects going at once keeps you young!!!!!!!! I like to have at least 3 in the works all the time.

Cheers, Jim
